There are few ‘amounts’ because I just do enough for the size pan I am using.
Ingredients:
Potatoes – sliced ¼” think
Cabbage – chopped
grated cheddar
parmesan
1 egg
½ cup+ cottage cheese
basil, oregano, pepper
sliced mushrooms
sauté the cabbage (with spices) and set aside
sauté mushrooms and set each aside
You can nuke the potato slices for 2+ minutes (tho they get a tad gummy) or boil potato until just tender. Cool.
Mix egg, parmesan and cottage in a bowl
Layer everything up.
Either bake at 325 for 20 minutes
OR
Nuke for 10 minutes with cover on
Layers:
½ potato
½ cabbage
egg mix
½ potato
some shredded cheddar
½ cabbage
some shredded cheddar
mushrooms
Not the prettiest casserole to take a photo of, but yummy all the same.
This can BE dinner or you can add a baguette or brats or soup.
