Any disaster is fear, trepidation and annoyance. It is gridlock on the interstates, pervasive gas shortage and carloads of people seeking refuge. It is panicked people wondering if they, their family or their house will survive. Hurricane Irma follows within days of Houston's Hurricane Harvey. People thought Harvey was bad and along came Irma!
These two storms had me fixed of weather reports watching the projected storm track continually shift.
The Girl Scout in me ushering forth with a 'be prepared' attitude might appreciate the challenge, but not when responsibilities are not for me alone, but Russ too.
Grateful prayers for those in my life who were far less damaged than they thought they'd be. Hopeful prayers for those who have their lives, but nothing else. Mournful prayers for the thugs who decided looting and crime were the best solution. and praise for the millions who are raising funds for the recovery of those affected.
Peace.
