Well... sometimes there is no choice.
Is that a bad thing? I'd say it's natural. We will all have to shift patterns as we age, Russ' just happen to come along with Parkinson's Disease. Aging comes with change of routine. How many times have you heard about older folks homes being SO warm, or they just nibble because it's too hard to make a meal for one, or they don't sleep as long as they used to, or they always have a runny nose and need to carry a hankie, or they have to write things down or they'll forget or perhaps what irks you when you visit an elderly person is how loud they blast the TV. It is all natural and part of life's journey.
Each journey is individual though and the lucky folks are those who have a partner. Family and friends complete our circle and for that I am grateful.
