Saturday afternoon I joined them at The Thunder and Lightening Air Show over Tucson at the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Finding them was no small feat, though Gail did give good directions. But with 50,000-100,000 and thousands of cars...hmmmm. I actually counted how many rows (26) forward, then rows across (31) and found a building to use as a marker. From there was another trec and through security. There were 100's of soldiers on duty to direct traffic, direct people, help at the check point, assist people on and off planes and generally make the day run smoothly. It was truly an amazing feat of organization that this air base does for an Open House to thank their community.

I'm on a pretty strict budget for this move so I was just window shopping. I did get a great idea for my friend Peter to build me a 'camouflage' piece for my front water supplies. Right now it has a VERY UGLY covering. Here's my thought:
A spiral represents the cycle of life; birth, growth, and death. It represents growth and development and a symbol of change and progression.
Can you think of a better symbol for my life change here in Tucson?
The green color would be my gate color (blue-already approved by the HOA). And yes, it must all be approved by the HOA. That will be the next step.
