The day arrived, we made reservations and we met the fate of a 17 year old NON-LICENSED driver. (see Jan. 30th entry). We spent most of that day not in pleasurable celebration of one another, but instead calming a distraught girl, waiting and waiting for police to show up at the scene, giving statements and finally dealing with getting a rental car.
The wait was on again for a beautiful day. My days off recently have been spent on the tractor, shoveling snow or chipping ice. About a week and a half ago 'pretend' spring arrived and we finally got our day of fun in. Thank you Donna and Mike!
We each had an amazing grilled chicken caesar salad…. the 'best' dressing, hazelnuts, fresh parmesan avacado and grilled chicken. And of course a lovely glass of wine. I had to take a picture of the label so I can get some… a Dry Creek Cab. Sav.
