- When the weather dips below 30...
- You will need buckets - any kind will do. A favorite for us is sparkle buckets, but honestly, anything will do.
- Fill the bucket about 3/4 full with water
- Place outside on a level surface to freeze. This will be anywhere from 1 to 3 days. The water does not freeze into a solid chunk in that time, but rather a solid top and sides.
- Bring inside for a few minutes (15-30min) to loosen the ice from the sides
- Outside, carefully tip the bucket to extract the 'candle holder'. Now tip the holder and dump out all the water in the middle that did not freeze. VOILA!
