Just a reminder that Saturday is Halloween! If you plan to participate, please observe the following:
- Saturday, October 31 from 6-7p.m.
- Porch/front deck lights on.
- Place treats in a container and set at end of deck or walkway.
- Remain safely indoors or on deck at distance from kids.
Let's start with the kids...all having such fun!
Russ and I have been married 42 years. In the first 40 years we had one Trick or Treater and I wasn't prepared. Poor little guy got frozen cookies! So this year's excitement was a true 'treat'.
There are so few expectations on Halloween. It's a day when you can BE someone else: be silly, be scary, be silent or be outrageous. The planning of your costume, the anticipation and the wondering door to door is Halloween. Thankfully Regina figured a way to make that happen in this year of Covid.
Halloween is just 'fun'. I love this retiree costume of Russ' when we went to a neighbors party a few years ago. We were 'over' dressing up for Halloween, but didn't want to be complete curmudgeons.
