The classic Frito Pie dip containing corn chips, chili, and cheese. This can be transformed into a dip by living our the Fritos on the bottom. Those are most definitely not eliminated, just used differently. You use them to scoop the dip into your mouth with reckless abandon!

INGREDIENTS
8 ounces of cream cheese
16 ounces of sour cream
4 cups of chili
2 cups of cheddar cheese
1 bag of corn chips (I like Fritos Scoops)
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375F
Mix the sour cream and cream cheese together.
Spread into the bottom of a skillet.
Top with chili.
Cover with cheese.
Bake at 375F for 25 minutes or until bubbly and the cheese is melted.
Serve hot with corn chips!
Want a jiffy version:
No need to measure. Just mix together a container of softened (not whipped and not regular) cream cheese and a small container of sour cream.
If you don't have some chili in the freezer or made a batch that morning, use a can (2?) of chili augmented with a small amount of browned burger, a small onion, some cumin.
