We have another house showing today, which is a good thing. But honestly, it's tough to pretend you don't live here and yet still do. Little by little I clear space and schlep it to the storage shed. I haven't reached the ultimate 'don't live here' look, but I'm getting closer. I can't even begin to imagine doing this with kids living at home.
So today is showing #8 (or #9?). Sadly, all I see is the mad dash to make it appear as though no one lives here. To date, one person thought the price was too high per square foot. Everyone else has been very positive and written wonderful reviews. Three have put it on their list of possibilities (and must have found something else), but no one has walked in and said "this is it". Today?
I try with each showing to help it show at it's best. I am pleased that spring has come and you can see the ground. I have spent lots of time outdoors over the past week, raking, burning, 'finding' one garden, and putting out some patio furniture. I have not gotten to so much of the outdoor work though and it's frustrating. If only…. maybe...
So off I go to make an effort of good presentation. Realtor Chris has specific directions of how to leave the house… off I go to make it 'presentable'.
