GOODIN' PUDDIN'
- 1 cup uncooked cranberries, whole
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 Tbsp. melted Crisco (my recipe says "do not omit this!")
- Grease well 9″ pie plate.
- Mix together cranberries, sugar and nuts and spread over bottom of plate
- Beat egg well.
- Add 1/2 cup sugar gradually and beat until thoroughly mixed.
- Add flour, melted butter and Crisco. Stir well.
- Spread batter over cranberries.
- Bake in slow, 325° for 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
